Jakub Karnowski

Jakub Karnowski is a scholar and practitioner affiliated with the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw, Poland. He combines teaching with research on financial markets and economic policy. His professional experience includes advisory and executive roles in Poland and abroad, including as head of the political cabinet for Finance Minister, Director of the International Department at the National Bank of Poland, World Bank consultant, and member of the Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank Group. He studied at the University of Minnesota and holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management.
