Andrzej Rzońca

Andrzej Rzońca is a professor at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw, Poland. He heads the Department of International Comparative Studies and was chair of the Society of Polish Economists. His expertise focuses on monetary policy and macroeconomics, and he served on the Monetary Policy Council at the National Bank of Poland during the Euro area sovereign debt crisis and the early phase of the war in Ukraine. His research has been recognised with major Polish economics awards, including the Citibank Foundation Kronenberg Prize and the Polish Academy of Sciences Fryderyk Skarbek Prize.
