Pedro Pereira

Pedro Pereira is a senior economist at the Portuguese Competition Authority and a Researcher at BRU-ISCTE-IUL. Pereira holds a doctorate from the University of California, San Diego. He joined the Portuguese Competition Authority in 2003, after having taught at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. During 2009, he worked for LECG as a senior managing economist at the New York Office. Pereira’s area of interest is theoretical and empirical industrial organization, with a focus on competition policy.
