Mariana Pereira-Lopez

Mariana Pereira-Lopez is a Senior Economist in the Private Markets Group within the Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) at the World Bank Group. Her research focuses on firm-level dynamics and productivity, management practices, technology adoption, innovation, entrepreneurship, impact evaluations, competition, and energy efficiency. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from El Colegio de México and has more than sixteen years of experience across government, academia, and international organizations.
