Marco Battaglini

Marco Battaglini is the Edward H. Meyer Professor of Economics at Cornell University. He graduated from Bocconi University and earned his PhD in economics from Northwestern University. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory, a Sloan Research Fellow, and a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. He has also received the Carlo Alberto Medal, awarded to an Italian economist under the age of 40 for outstanding contributions to economics, and the Michael Wallerstein Award of the American Political Science Association. His recent research focuses on economic theory and political economy.
