Roberto Carlos is an assistant professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin. His research agenda focuses on the Latinx immigrant experience broadly. His work on these topics has appeared in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics; Justice System Journal, Political Research Quarterly; PS: Politics & Science; and The Journal of Legislative Studies.

The authors find the policy successfully nudged more judges to rule against immigrant plaintiffs.
