David Primo

David M. Primo is Professor of Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Rochester, where he holds the Ani and Mark Gabrellian Professorship and serves as the Chair of the Political Science Department. Primo has published in over a dozen academic journals on topics in American politics, campaign finance, corporate political strategy, corporate social responsibility, fiscal policy, and political bargaining. He is the author or coauthor of four books including Campaign Finance and American Democracy: What the Public Really Thinks and Why It Matters (University of Chicago Press). Primo has testified before Congress several times about budget rules, and he has served as an expert witness in multiple campaign finance cases.
