André Kurmann is a Professor of Economics at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and an Adjunct Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an Associate Editor at the Journal of Monetary Economics, a member of the Board of Directors at the Philadelphia Federal Statistical Research Data Center, and a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Kurmann received an undergraduate and master's degree in economics from the HEC Lausanne and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia. His research focuses on labor markets, business cycle fluctuations, and macroeconomic policy.
