Matteo Romagnoli

Matteo Romagnoli is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca. In his research, he empirically investigates the relationship between competition and innovation in the electricity sector. To do so, he uses patent data and patent-level indicators to study the effect of electricity market liberalization on the development of clean energy technologies. His research interests also include the effect of biofuel support policies on the food market.
