Paola Ugalde

Paola Ugalde is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Louisiana State University. She received her PhD in Economics from Arizona State University. Her applied research spans education and labor economics, focusing on access to and inequality in education and how structural and institutional factors shape educational opportunity and outcomes. Her current work investigates how political polarization affects students’ college decisions and their perceptions of universities’ political orientations.
