Pablo M. Pinto is a Distinguished Professor at the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston and Director of the Center for Public Policy. His research focuses on political economy, globalization, fiscal policy, and political representation, with recent work on disaster resilience and sustainability. He is the author of Partisan Investment in the Global Economy and co-author of Politics and FDI, and his work has appeared in journals including International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Comparative Political Studies, Economics & Politics, and Review of International Political Economy.
