Mingzhi Xu

Mingzhi Xu is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at Peking University (PKU). Before joining PKU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the National Bureau of the Economic Research (NBER), and visiting researcher at the Growth Lab of Harvard Kennedy School. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Davis in 2018. Dr Xu’s research focuses on international economics, industrial organization and economic development. His work has been published in the American Economic Review, American Economic Review: Insights, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal, Journal of International Economics, International Economic Review, and Journal of Development Economics.
