Luna Bellani

Luna Bellani is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Ulm, Germany. She is also a Research Associate at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz, Research Fellow at IZA@LISER, and a Research Affiliate at the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality at the Dondena Research Center, Bocconi University. Her research focuses on applied microeconomics, with particular interests in inequality within and between households, intergenerational mobility, and the political economy of redistribution.

Despite the blow to their economic standing, former slaveholders maintained their electoral success, and once in office, their influence actually grew.
