Javier D. Donna

Javier D. Donna holds the Jeffrey L. Bewkes Family Endowed Chair and is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Miami Business School. His research is in industrial organization, antitrust, and competition policy, with a current focus on algorithmic pricing and platform markets, as well as mergers, damages, vertical restraints, and exclusionary conduct. His work has appeared in leading economics and law journals, including the RAND Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, Management Science, and the Journal of Human Resources. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University and previously served on the faculties of the Ohio State University and the University of Florida, where he was Associate Director of the Robert F. Lanzillotti Public Policy Research Center.
