Giovanni Veronese

Giovanni Veronese joined the Research Department of Banca d'Italia in 1998. He obtained his PhD in economics from the University of California Los Angeles in 2005. He worked as a Visiting Fellow at Anderson Forecast UCLA and as a consultant in the Macro/Finance group of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi. From 2023 he serves as Deputy Head of the International Relations and Economics Directorate at Banca d’Italia. His research interests include applied econometrics, and international economics.
