Anya Nakhmurina

Anya Nakhmurina is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Yale School of Management. She holds a secondary appointment as an Associate Professor of the Environment at the Yale School of the Environment. She studies the information environment of U.S. municipalities, with a focus on financial reporting transparency. She is particularly interested in exploring cities' disclosures to understand their decisions concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. Nakhmurina is also an Affiliate Fellow of the Stigler Center for the Study of the Economy and the State at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and was a Junior Fellow of the Stigler Center during 2018-2021.
