Anselm Hager is Professor for International Politics in the Department of Social Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin. He received his doctorate from Columbia University in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he was Junior Professor for Political Economy at the University of Konstanz. His research lies at the intersection of political economy, inequality, ethnic conflict, and institutional discrimination, with a particular focus on prosocial behavior, radicalization, and the social consequences of political and bureaucratic institutions.
