Agustín Vallejo is a Research Assistant Professor at the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston. His research focuses on electoral politics, political careers, and gender and minority representation in Latin America and the United States. His work has been published in journals including the British Journal of Political Science, Party Politics, Political Research Quarterly, Politics & Gender, Electoral Studies, and the Latin American Research Review.
